Now this is the type of clever recruitment marketing I can get behind - what better way to promote a CRM to recruiters other than creating a high status public database of those recruiters? Also a great way to get to know some of our community members from France. Now please do repeat the trick with other territories. Finally, I might actually use this to organise speakers / panelists for Brainfood Live, as right now I got nothing.
Issue #338 published 2 Apr 2023

Unquestionably one of the growth sectors in the global economy as the combination of digitisation of the workplace + rise in geopolitical conflict creates the ideal conditions for the proliferation of cybersecurity risk. Nice aggregator here on all the sources of InfoSec news you could care to know - check it out here.
Issue #285 published 27 Mar 2022

How do top tech employers structure career progression for software engineers? Here they are - some of them at least - publicly sharing how they do it. Issue #274 published 9 Jan 2022
Significant move from LinkedIn, who finally enter the audio space after watching Clubhouse, Twitter and even Facebook blaze the trail. Don’t expect too much innovation on the product here, but none will be needed as the reach will be enough to ensure this will be a success. Not sure if Brainfood will do anything with this, though maybe we should. Any ideas on what / how? PS: Follow me on LinkedIn here if you want to be updated on this
H/T brainfooders Garry Turner and Jamie Leonard for the share in the fb group

Your LinkedIn network is now your phonebook, with this significant yet surprisingly quiet feature release last week. Brief thoughts from me here. If you have it already, and want to experiment with me on this feature, send me a voice message and say hello. I’ll say hello back.

A surprising move by Skype, but not too late to take a chunk of the tech assessment market. Simple feature to enhance the tech interview. Codility / HackerRank take note.

Anyone else heard of this service? New one for me, but it’s a collection of interesting ideas based around anonymity. One of the features is send anonymous postcards to your boss. Inspired from PostSecret and Whisper, I think. We can think of this as a tool for radical feedback.
